Latricia Duke of Texas aboard Running Ricochet Bar wins the $100,000 Invitational Slot Race Slot holder Clay Sewalt and horse owned by Thomas Suza of Brazil

Latricia Duke of Texas aboard Running Ricochet Bar owned by Thomas Suza also runs away with the BFA Futurity Championship. They won the average by more than 4 tenths. Latricia took 3 of the top 5 spots in the futurity average. She was aslo reserve champion aboard Hesa Bug Leo owned by Arbie and Betty Miller.

Alona James of Oklahoma aboard VF Red Rhinestones owned by Victory Farms won the average in the $20,000 added Closed Sale Futrurity. The pair won the first go and was third in the second go which in turn won the average. The top 4 horses in the Sale Futurity average were consigned and sold by Victory Farms. Including LL Blind Faith which was the high seller in 2008.

Sharon Comer and John Read Foster were the consignors of the High Selling Horses at the LGPC Barrel Horse Sale. The two prospects sold for $21,000 each. Rick Large bought John Read's gelding by Famous JR out of a daughter of Marttha Six Moons. Black Star Ranch bought Sharon Comer's filly by Dash Ta Fame out of a daughter of Champus.
